WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO JOIN MAGNOLIA?
"I think Magnolia chose me just as much as I chose them. I had been at my job for 6 years and I had been in such a repetitive routine for so long that I needed a change. Magnolia was the perfect opportunity for me to do what I know, and also do what I don't know. I had stop learning at my previous job, which made me feel as though I had stopped growing. At Magnolia, I grow a bit more every day."
WHAT AVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT WORKING FOR A SMALL COMPANY?
"Everyone's opinion matters. At such a small company, your voice is heard and changes are made. At a larger company, an individual may be lost in the chaos of the environment. Your success does not shine through as much as it could or should because there are so many other individuals doing the same thing. You feel less important. Watching Magnolia grow is like watching myself grow because I am a part of a team that has made it happen. It feels wonderful to be a large part of something great."
HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR PERSONALITY SHINES THROUGH AT MAGNOLIA?
"I try to be approachable at all times. In order to be approachable, you have to be friendly, warm and happy. In the past, I have worked with individuals who are the exact opposite of that, and they are difficult to work with. They say laughter is contagious, but I find that every aspect of your personality is contagious, so I try to put out what I would want given back to me as much as possible."
"Even though you cannot control everything that happens, you can control your attitude toward what happens. And in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you." - Brian Tracy
